Being a Major TV Producer

Independent powerhouse TalkBack Thames was formed in 2003 by the merger of Thames TV (former London ITV regional franchise holder and now the UK’s largest tv producer), and TalkBack TV (formed by Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones). The company has an extensive production roster ranging from: The Bill, Ali G, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, They Think It’s All Over, The Lost Price, How Clean Is Your House … and a library including Minder, Morecambe & Wise, Kenny Everett, Benny Hill, The Sweeney, Rainbow and many others.

Lorraine Heggessey was also formerly Controller of BBC1 television.
